I took my photos at a place in Somerset called The Point. Three of the photos are pictures of the Taunton River. One of them is the trail that leads you to the water. Another picture is the plant life that surrounds the area where the water is. The last picture is of the neighborhood near The Point. In all of these pictures I am close to the land or sea that I am taking a picture of. I think the best representation of foreground, middleground, and background is in the 5th picture. The tree that is off to the right would be the foreground, the river would be the middle ground and the land and sky would be the background. These pictures were all taken from straight on except the fourth picture, which was taken from above. All of these photographs are horizontal. There is a pattern in the waves of the ocean. There are a lot of lines within the trees that can be seen in all of the pictures and there is a nice leading line in the dirt trail in the second picture and also with the road in the last picture. I made sure these pictures were taken at a reasonable time where the sun was still out so there would be natural light. Also when the clouds were blocking the sun I used the lack of light to give these pictures a mysterious look. I think these pictures show that this place is beautiful, even though it isn't seen and known by many people. You see how far it is away from the neighbors by the picture of the trail, but in many of the pictures you can capture the beautiful view that it has.
